REWARDING CAREERS

`

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

Working with Osprey should be rewarding, whatever you’re doing. It’s one of the reasons we invest in our peoples development, foster flexible/hybrid working for most of office roles, and offer ongoing professional and personal development opportunities too. Our standard benefits include enhanced pension contributions, income protection insurance, 25 days annual leave (plus eight Bank Holidays), and a range of extras:

  • Performance Related Pay
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Employee Assistance Programme

As much as possible, we try to support all of our employees with professional memberships, training and a wide range of qualification opportunities.

The Osprey Development Academy

Everyone working at Osprey can apply to take part in the Osprey Development Academy (ODA). The ODA supports Osprey employees with opportunities that help people to develop as individuals. Soft skills, as well as focused training.

Mentoring and coaching then complements one-to-one time with senior leaders, along with opportunities to upskill and get insights from other parts of the business. There’s self-directed online learning, feedback, and a chance to showcase what you’re learning – it’s a sought-after programme.

OWOWs

Osprey’s internal awards are known as the ‘OWOWs’. They’re how we recognise the far-reaching achievements of our teams and people, not only on our projects in the field but also behind the scenes.

We have nine categories of OWOW. From ‘Problem Solver’ to ‘Safety Award’, eight are voted for by colleagues while the 9th is voted for by the CEO.

Pioneers

Month by month, we like to recognise who’s helping us to help our clients the most. We’re valued as a business for believing in ‘better, together’, and the Pioneer programme reflects people who’ve been demonstrating how we bring our values to life.

Sometimes, a client’s recommendation will put forward an entire team. Often, it’s an individual who’ll be nominated for a Pioneer award. Everyone gets to see who’s made the nomination, and why, and each month’s winning Pioneer(s) receive a voucher.

One Osprey Day

Osprey’s annual conference – One Osprey Day – is an event that brings us all together. It’s a great chance for us to share updates about the future, to socialise with colleagues who are often working in different places, and to learn how we’re innovating for the long term.

Team Building

We take pride in working hard to overcome the toughest challenges, engineering the right plans for all of our clients’ projects. But we also put a lot of effort into letting our teams get together and get creative, to find out more about themselves and each other’s strengths, and to build on the ethos of working better, together.
