Installations Operator – Avonmouth Docks

We’re looking for permanent installation Operators to join our team, based in Avonmouth Docks, Bristol. There are multiple positions available for this role, and we’re looking for local people to join us!

As the Installation Operator, you will be a key member of the Osprey team and be responsible for the execution of onsite operations using assets and other equipment, in line with produced engineering and Osprey processes. Working as part of the team of operatives on the Installations team you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of activities involved in these operations such as; working safely as part of a team, setting up, inspecting and operating the necessary installation equipment.

The Installations Operator is accountable for:

• Equipment expertise – subject matter expert in all types of installation, hydraulic jacking, skidding and other operating equipment.
• Operational delivery – ensuring all site activities are conducted in alignment with Osprey standards and procedures as well as working to define RAMS and lift plans produced by engineers.
• Industry knowledge – following industry best practices, sharing training and learning with others and being aware of legislation and regulations applicable to all tasks conducted as part of the role.
