Osprey opens sixth UK location in Stockton
Osprey Group is opening a new facility in Stockton, enabling a ‘local hub’ for efficiency-focussed specialist logistics supporting infrastructure developments in the North of the UK.
Osprey has grown steadily over the last 25 years, delivering projects worldwide from its offices in Bristol, Birmingham and Newcastle. In the last five years, an increase in the pace and popularity of its specialist logistics proposition has demanded expansion, and this month the business announces the opening of a sixth UK location, based in Stockton.
Pete Fletcher, Director: “This new base makes perfect sense, not just for us but for our clients too. It brings a ‘local focus’ to the area, where we’re now delivering an increased number of efficiency-focussed specialist logistics to support infrastructure developments in the North of the UK. It’s also reflecting our own commitment to the energy transition and, supporting the ambitions of Net Zero Teesside.”
Osprey Group has six offices in the UK, plus a European office in Rotterdam. For marine project work, port agency, cable transportation and storage, near-shore construction, offshore and onshore wind power, tidal energy and more, the business offers a wide proposition of specialist logistics and logistics’ consultancy underpinned by owner-operated equipment. Hard on the heels of a multi-million investment in new SPMTs for the business, this location is another vote of confidence in the future of Britain’s renewables’ sector and infrastructure plans.
