Osprey opens new Leiston office to support Sizewell C and strengthen the East of England supply chain

Located on the doorstep of the Sizewell C campus, the new office reinforces Osprey’s commitment to supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. It also strengthens the company’s position as a leading nuclear supply chain partner while deepening relationships with local businesses, suppliers and delivery partners across the East of England.

The Leiston office will provide a dedicated operational base for Osprey’s engineering and logistics teams supporting the Sizewell C programme and its network of Tier 1 contractors. By establishing a permanent presence within the local community, Osprey will work more closely with project partners, improve responsiveness and help deliver integrated engineering and logistics solutions throughout the construction programme.

Building on its experience supporting major nuclear and infrastructure projects, including a Tier 1 role at Hinkley Point C, Osprey brings together transport engineering, logistics planning, lifting operations and installation support to help clients deliver complex projects safely and efficiently.

The Leiston office will provide:
• Engineering-led logistics planning and coordination
• On-site engineering and operational support
• Integrated transport, lifting and installation solutions
• Early contractor engagement and constructability support
• Collaborative delivery with Tier 1 contractors and specialist suppliers

The new office also represents an investment in the local economy. By creating a permanent base in Leiston, Osprey aims to strengthen the regional supply chain, increase opportunities for local businesses to participate in nationally significant infrastructure projects and contribute to the long-term economic legacy of Sizewell C.

Working alongside local suppliers wherever possible will help develop resilient regional capability, retain skills and investment within the area, reduce unnecessary travel and improve collaboration across the project supply chain. The office will also provide a platform for engaging with local education, skills and employment initiatives as Osprey continues to develop its presence in the region.

Nigel Fletcher, CEO of Osprey, said:
“Opening our Leiston office demonstrates our long-term commitment to supporting the delivery of Sizewell C and the communities surrounding it. Being based close to the project allows us to work more collaboratively with clients, contractors and local suppliers, providing responsive engineering and logistics support where it matters most.

“Major infrastructure projects create lasting opportunities beyond construction alone. By investing in a permanent local presence, we’re committed to strengthening regional capability, supporting local businesses and creating social value through the partnerships we build across the East of England.”

As construction activity at Sizewell C continues to accelerate, Osprey’s Leiston office will play an important role in supporting safe, efficient and integrated project delivery while contributing to a stronger, more resilient local supply chain and leaving a positive legacy for the region.
