Osprey opens new office at Port of Blyth

Osprey has opened a new office at the Port of Blyth, strengthening its presence in the North East and expanding the support it can provide to clients across the marine, offshore energy and infrastructure sectors.

The new base supports Osprey’s 650 Te Crane and SPMT operations located in Blyth and reflects Osprey’s long-term commitment to the region. The investment will bring the business closer to clients, delivery partners and specialist suppliers operating across the North East and the wider North Sea market.

By establishing a permanent presence at the port, Osprey aims to build stronger relationships with local businesses and create more opportunities for regional suppliers to contribute to major projects. This will support the development of a resilient local supply chain while giving clients greater access to the specialist expertise and capabilities available across the region.

The office will also bolster Osprey’s marine services and heavy-lift capabilities, providing a strategic base from which its engineering, marine operations and project delivery teams can plan and support complex transport and installation programmes.

From its new Blyth office, Osprey will provide engineering-led marine and heavy-lift planning, project delivery and operational support. The team will work alongside clients and supply-chain partners from early feasibility and constructability assessment through to transport, installation and execution.

The new base forms part of Osprey’s continued investment in the people, partnerships and capabilities needed to make complex infrastructure projects deliverable.
