Osprey signs the Armed Forces Covenant

A commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and recognising the skills and experience its people bring.

Osprey is proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, formalising our commitment to supporting serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated fairly and with respect.

For Osprey, signing the Covenant means turning that principle into practical action.

We have committed to promoting opportunities through military transition networks, recognising military qualifications and transferable skills in our recruitment processes, supporting reservists with their training and mobilisation commitments wherever operationally possible, and providing mentoring and development opportunities for members of the Armed Forces community. We will also establish an internal Armed Forces Network to connect and support colleagues with an Armed Forces connection.

It is a commitment that has a natural connection with Osprey and the work we do. Our teams work across some of the UK’s most complex engineering, logistics and infrastructure environments, where technical expertise, sound judgement, leadership, teamwork and the ability to solve problems safely and effectively all matter.

We recognise the considerable knowledge, skills and experience that people can develop through a career in the Armed Forces, and the contribution that experience can make to Osprey as we continue to grow our capabilities and our teams.

But our commitment goes further than recruitment. We want Osprey to be a workplace where people with Armed Forces connections feel respected and valued, where their experience is recognised, and where they have opportunities to develop and build rewarding careers.

Signing the Armed Forces Covenant is an important step in making that commitment clear and, more importantly, putting it into practice.
