Osprey’s wins RoSPA Health & Safety Award
Osprey Group is proud to have been recognised for the quality of its health and safety work in 2021, with the RoSPA Silver Health & Safety Award.
At Osprey, the way we manage Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) is the key to every project’s success. We try to lead by example on-site and off. Ultimately, this ensures a safe, people-focused service: a way of working that minimises risk, prevents injuries, and delivers environmentally aware logistics that meet or exceed expectations.
We are delighted to announce that Osprey’s holistic approach to QHSE has been recognised by RoSPA, the Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents, with a Silver Health & Safety Award.
Dean Graham, QHSE Manager: “QHSE is more of a philosophy for us, as specialist logistics providers. We know we’re in a position to be formative, to set industry-leading standards that can turn QHSE into the natural priority for everyone who’s involved, at every stage and, in every part of every project. I’m delighted that our teams’ commitment to QHSE has been recognised this way – it’s a very significant achievement to be given a Silver Award in our first recognition from RoSPA.”
Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants submit details of the QHSE work to the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards. Any organisation that’s recognised with a RoSPA Award, is deemed to be a world-leader in health and safety practice. Wendy Kenny, Chief Operating Officer: “This is one of the most highly valued awards for health and safety – it’s a real testament to the way our teams have embodied the spirit of QHSE, and embedded health and safety best practice in everything we do.”
