ON TIME, ON BUDGET
We are experts in planning and managing end-to-end AIL transport of all kinds. We’re proud to have a long-standing partnership with one of the UK’s foremost heavy transport companies, Allelys Heavy Haulage Ltd. Together, our abnormal load team have decades of AIL experience, moving some of the world’s most challenging assets across and around the country – and overseas.
Load-spreading systems, beam trailers and wafer decks. Multi-axle hydraulic modular systems, girder frame trailers for up to 500t on public roads, and vessel deck trailers. Swept path analysis, route studies, SPMT movements – using our own fleet of 120 SPMTs – road permits and more. Our combined inventory includes the UK’s largest fleet of heavy lift cranes, and all of this equipment is handled and managed by an experienced Abnormal Loads team. You can meet some of the Abnormal Loads team here.
Working in partnership
You’ll benefit from our UK-wide relationships with contacts for abnormal load permits, including BE16 Special Order and VR1 Permits. We can carry out detailed pre-project reports and feasibility studies too, including swept path analysis. And of course, we can provide dedicated pilot cars, and liaise with local communities (and police escorts).
With multi-disciplined teams of drivers, operators, planners, sector specialists, engineers … we can draw on this combined expertise to find better ways of transporting abnormal loads.
It’s not simply about getting from A to B. It’s about getting there the best possible way, on time, and on budget. It’s the Osprey Way of Working.
