Multi-Disciplined Engineering
BREADTH AND DEPTH OF EXPERIENCE
When it comes to complex multi-mode logistics, the more insights the better. Osprey’s approach to engineering involves bringing all of our experience to the table so that we can find the right solution for moving complex, critical assets.
All of our plans are created with qualified, cross-sector experience. We combine the practical site experience of our supervisors and project managers while our naval architects and civil, mechanical, lift and marine engineers stay closely linked to each project throughout its lifecycle, including learnings from the execution phase.
You’ll see our engineers at site completing their learning loops.
THE RIGHT APPROACH
Innovative doesn’t have to mean ‘different’, or ‘brand new way of working’. Sometimes the right solution involves common sense and a straightforward plan. Whichever pieces of heavy lift equipment are assigned to a project, you also need the right people involved to make sure that inventory is used to best effect.
That said, our teams have also come up with ingenious solutions to overcome significant challenges, and many of our approaches are now industry standards. New installation techniques for rail bridges that reduce possession times, for example. Our case studies provide an insight to our approach…
DELIVERING VALUE FROM DAY ONE
Early Contractor Involvement is our preferred approach to every project – getting engaged experience around the table, bringing multi-disciplined insights at the most crucial early stages.
Drawing from the experience of naval architects and civil, mechanical, lifting, transport and marine engineers, we’ll explore every angle to find ways of working that reduce risks and save time, as well as optimising costs (without cutting corners).
