OFFSHORE RENEWABLES

Offshore wind farms, tidal power, cabling – Osprey is one of the UK’s most experienced renewables logistics providers. With floating offshore wind on the horizon now, we understand the pressures on this industry.

From muster ports to the movement of turbines, blades, nacelles, towers (we pioneered vertical shipping), transition pieces, foundations, subsea cables, met masts, cabling in particular … storage and shipping … we’re the only British specialist logistics provider that’s transported every large component to an offshore wind farm.

We’ve been working with key partners in renewables for years. We don’t just deliver components, we make sure we deliver unexpected value for the renewables sector by finding ways to work better, together.

INCREASING EFFICIENCY

As a British company, living and working both locally and globally, we’re enthused by the aspirations fuelling the UK’s renewable targets – more offshore power, and more efficient delivery of that power too.

Inevitably that means bigger, heavier infrastructure. We’ve used our barges and heavy lift equipment to transport the widest range of components out to 24 offshore wind farms. That’s over a hundred major components in total, which gives us a unique perspective on planning construction logistics. Contact us to find out more about the efficiencies we’ve started building-in from the outset, in all offshore renewable projects.
