Onshore Renewables
ACCELERATING THE ENERGY TRANSITION
The UK’s climate change goals are ambitious. We’re proud to support the businesses making a prominent contribution to global, low-carbon objectives. Our 15-year track record is extensive and we’re currently working in the UK and across Europe.
End clients depend on us to meet the challenge of installing ever-higher hub heights, while also finding efficiencies – the faster we can build, safely, the sooner that capital is being put to good use. On site, our seasoned crews achieve market-leading relocation times between hardstands to ensure clients reach critical milestones.
We operate a diverse range of cranes – our LG1750, CC3800 and LG1550 are the mainstay of our onshore wind fleet.
THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT
The reality is, until they start generating, turbines are stranded capital. Our tools are chosen so that we can install ever-increasing hub heights – safely, rapidly.
We support that equipment with experienced teams who excel in rapid redeployment times between the pads – relocation times are crucial, we’re reducing timeframes for first electricity.
- In addition to our LG1750, our CC3800 comes with the full factory wind kit, which allows for a boom that extends to 159m with 12m fly jib.
CASE STUDY
ONSHORE RENEWABLES
Osprey has been working with the renewables sector for over 15 years. We’ve installed over 220 wind turbines to date.
Our teams have been on site installing wind turbines in Sweden. Our heavy lift team has the experience to not just supply cranes handling the ever-increasing weights and sizes of these turbines’ components, but also to facilitate better working practices.
HEAVY LIFT TEAM
For onshore renewables, experience is key. Our teams understand what’s needed, and why, and how we can use our experience to cut time and costs without cutting corners.
